I started playing the guitar when I was about 8 years old. I'd make up my own chords and melodies and figure out how to play songs I'd hear on the radio. The types of songs I write are mostly rock but I also write a few folk, country, jazz, and outer space songs too. I've been influenced by hundreds of artists, but I think mainly the Beatles, Keith Richards, Jimi Hendrix,Led Zeppelin, Joni Mitchell, Sting, David Gilmour and Nirvana.  As for lead guitar, there are a number of  British blues players, including Peter Green and Eric Clapton, who had a major impact on my style.
